How to Check Nintendo Payments
Viewing Nintendo Switch eShop Purchase History
Nintendo Switch users can easily check their payment history on the eShop. Here are the steps to follow:
On the Nintendo Switch System:
- Select Nintendo eShop on the HOME Menu to launch the eShop.
- If there are multiple user accounts on the system, select the account you want to use. Note that purchases can only be viewed when logged in to the Nintendo Account that made them. The purchase history of a parent account will not include purchases made on a child account.
- Select the picture of your icon in the upper-right corner to access your Account Information.
- Select "Redownload". A list of all the software you've purchased that is not currently downloaded to the system will appear. Only software purchased with your Nintendo Account will appear on this list. Software purchased by other Nintendo Accounts on the console will not appear in your Redownload list. If all of your purchases are currently downloaded and playable on your system, nothing will appear in this list.
On the Nintendo Account Website:
- Visit the Nintendo Account website and sign in to your Nintendo Account. Again, purchases can only be viewed when logged in to the Nintendo Account that made them. The purchase history of a parent account will not include purchases made on a child account.
- Select "Purchase History".
- In the "Transaction History" section, select "View history". Here, you can view account activity dating back up to two years. This includes any promotional or bundled download codes that came with your purchases.
It is important to note that a receipt for each transaction in the Nintendo Switch eShop is emailed to the Nintendo Account that made the purchase. Therefore, it is recommended to review your emails for a full history of your transactions. For Nintendo Accounts for children, the email is sent to the parent/guardian's email address.
If you are experiencing any issues or have further questions regarding your Nintendo payments, it is recommended to contact Nintendo customer support for assistance.
